MAY – JUNE TOUR
U.K was great! I had a chance to perform in some very beautiful venues, perform with amazing musicians, and I felt right at home because of how my music was received at every venue. Some of the highlights of my tour are the jaminaround festival which took place in a a cool underground building, an all-African music event where I shared the stage with Feyisara “the African Entertainer”, Kadialy Kouyate(Master of the west African Kora), internationally acclaimed storyteller Jan Blake, just to mention few. I joined the nest collective celebration of roots music at Unamplifire festival which took place along river Thames at Master Shipwrights palace. I performs this show with butterflies in my stomach because of the magnitude of the event itself plus I had to plug in my guitar at an unplugged festival. My last concert was at Christ-Citadel International Church where I received so much love & support from Malawians who are in U.K.The best part of this tour was that most of these concerts were my own(I was the headline) and still they were SOLD OUT, thank you UK for this.
